UGC (University Grant Commission) television channel lectures on “The Evolution of American Democracy”, c. 2008. This lecture, on the Turner thesis on “The Frontier in American History”, shared between Professor Hari Sankar Vasudevan (then, Director, Maulana Abdul Kalam Institute of Asian Studies, Kolkata) and Professor Chittabrata Palit (Retired Professor, Jadavpur University), is the last in this series of lectures on American history. These lectures were intended for undergraduate students of history across India.
