Inaugurated by Dr. Kapila Vatsyayan, Life Trustee IIC and Chairperson, IIC–International Research Division, and Ambassador K. Raghunath, this exhibition commemorated both the centenary of the Russian Revolution and the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between India and Russia. The exhibition included archival photographs, maps, illustrations, copies of paintings, portraits and engravings, and gave us an insight to the role of Indian revolutionaries in the Russian revolution, among other facets of Indo–Russian engagement. Professor Vasudevan conceived and executed this exhibition through a collaboration with the Institute of Foreign Policy Studies, Calcutta University, and Maulana Abul Kalam Azad Institute of Asian Studies, Kolkata.
